🏴☠️ Lefors ISD Announcement
There is a possible scheduling conflict between High School Graduation and the State Track Meet this year.
Graduation is currently scheduled for Friday, May 15. However, depending on the results of the Regional Track Meet, some of our Pirate athletes may qualify for State Track, which could create a conflict.
To ensure our students are able to participate in both events, a decision will be made after Regionals on whether graduation will remain on May 15 or move to Thursday, May 14.
We will keep everyone updated as soon as regional results are finalized. Thank you for your flexibility as we work to support and celebrate our seniors and Pirate athletes.
Go Pirates! 🏴☠️
Reminder: There is a Cheer meeting tonight at 6pm in the auditorium. This meeting is mandatory for any student who is trying out for LISD Cheer for the 26-27 school year.

Please note that Friday, March 6th will now be a full school day instead of a half day as previously scheduled.
This adjustment is necessary to help recover instructional minutes that were lost during the recent school closures due to the water outage. Making up this time ensures that we remain in compliance with state requirements while continuing to provide quality instructional time for our students.
We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we make adjustments to support our students’ learning.
Thank you for being such a supportive part of our Pirate Family!
The safety and security of our students and staff is always our top priority. We appreciate the cooperation of our students, staff, and local partners as we continue to maintain a safe learning environment.
We are hosting a Blood Drive today. If you would like to donate, please come by or call the front office this morning to sign up so we can schedule you.
Blood donation saves lives, and we are grateful for those who choose to participate. Thank you for supporting our school community!
Parent pick-up is a one-way street with two lanes. The left lane (highlighted green) is the pass-through lane, and the right lane (highlighted orange) is the drive-through/parking lane.
If you are parked, please remain on the right side of the road. When you are driving through to exit, move to the left lane.
All students will walk on the purple line, between the orange lane and the parked cars. Students will NOT be allowed to walk in the green lane at any time.
The red square indicates where the bus will be parked from now on.
Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe, orderly, and efficient for everyone.

This is a notice that Lefors ISD will have school tomorrow as scheduled.
Xcel Energy has notified us that they will be shutting off power in areas surrounding Lefors; however, electricity within the town is expected to remain on, and our campus will continue to operate as normal.
Please know that we will be closely monitoring the situation throughout the day. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority, and we will take any necessary steps to ensure everyone remains safe.
Thank you for your continued support of Lefors ISD.
We want to make you aware that we have been advised by Xcel Energy of a potential Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) that could impact our area.
A severe weather event is expected to peak on Tuesday, February 17th, bringing high winds and dry conditions. A Public Safety Power Shutoff is possible; however, the school will operate as normal unless we notify you otherwise.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will communicate any changes related to school operations if needed. Updates will be shared through our usual communication channels, including our Lefors ISD app and Lefors ISD Pete Lefors Facebook page.
Thank you for your continued support. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.
