In honor of Homecoming Week, Lefors ISD will be giving away FREE Pirate yard signs! Signs will be available on the front lawn of the school and are first come, first served, so grab yours and show your Pirate Pride! 🏴‍☠️

And don’t forget to join us for tonight’s Homecoming festivities!

🍽️ 6:45–7:30 PM — Lefors Booster Club will be serving dinner on the front lawn — $5 per plate!

🐍 7:30 PM — The Snake begins! Join us as we make our way to Shaw Field for the Lighting of the LP! 🔥

As we kick off the football season, we want to take a moment to remind everyone of our expectations to ensure that all fans have an enjoyable and respectful experience at our games. Your support and enthusiasm are what make our events special, and we want to maintain a positive atmosphere for everyone.

Today, Lefors ISD participated in a scheduled lockdown drill as part of our ongoing safety procedures. These drills are conducted to ensure that our students and staff are prepared and familiar with safety protocols in the event of an emergency.

The safety and security of our students and staff is always our top priority. We appreciate the cooperation of our students, staff, and local partners as we continue to maintain a safe learning environment.

Parents, if your child rides the bus, please be at the bus stop by 4:00 p.m. each afternoon. The bus must leave the stop promptly at 4:15 p.m. Any student who has not been picked up before the bus leaves will be brought back to the school, and a parent or guardian will be required to pick the student up there. The student will also lose bus-riding privileges for the following three school days. Thank you for your understanding and for respecting everyone’s time.

Last weekend to sign up for Lefors Youth Sports!

Starting the week of August 17, all 7th–12th grade girls who have signed up for volleyball or basketball will finish practice 30 minutes after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This time will be dedicated to strength and conditioning. Thank you!

Any girl planning to play JH Basketball or Volleyball must have her completed physical paperwork turned in by Monday. Students will not be able to practice or participate until the required physical paperwork is on file, so please make sure everything is submitted by Monday. Thank you for helping us get our ladies ready for the season! 🧡🖤🏴‍☠️

🏴‍☠️ Tomorrow is the First Day of School! 🧡🖤 Pirate families, we’re excited to welcome everyone back tomorrow! A few reminders to help our first morning go smoothly: 🍳 Cafeteria: The cafeteria opens at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast. 🎒 Pre-K & Kindergarten: For the first day of school only, Pre-K and Kindergarten parents may walk their children to their classrooms. 📚 Secondary Schedules: Secondary students who do not have their class schedules may pick them up in the front office. 📝 Schedule Changes: Students who need or would like to request a schedule change should come to the front office and complete a schedule change form. We can’t wait to see our Pirates tomorrow and kick off a great school year! One crew. One course. 🏴‍☠️

All Lefors ISD will eat FREE this year! Both breakfast and lunch!
