Saturday School scheduled for January 10th has been canceled.
Due to ongoing water issues within the City of Lefors, the city will be required to shut off the water supply on Monday in order to repair a leak. Without access to running water, Lefors ISD will be unable to safely operate school.
As a result, school will be canceled on Monday.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We will continue to work closely with the city and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
Thank you for your patience and support.
Pirate Families,
Due to an unexpected city water shutoff, Lefors ISD will be dismissing students early today. Unfortunately, the water will not be restored in time for us to continue normal school operations.
Students will be released at 11:00 a.m.
The bus will arrive in Pampa at approximately 11:15 a.m.
We sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is always our top priority, and access to water is essential for school operations.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
Sincerely,
Ashley Brauchi
Superintendent, Lefors ISD
