Lefors ISD

Saturday School scheduled for January 10th has been canceled.

Due to ongoing water issues within the City of Lefors, the city will be required to shut off the water supply on Monday in order to repair a leak. Without access to running water, Lefors ISD will be unable to safely operate school. As a result, school will be canceled on Monday. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We will continue to work closely with the city and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and support.

Pirate Families, Due to an unexpected city water shutoff, Lefors ISD will be dismissing students early today. Unfortunately, the water will not be restored in time for us to continue normal school operations. Students will be released at 11:00 a.m. The bus will arrive in Pampa at approximately 11:15 a.m. We sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is always our top priority, and access to water is essential for school operations. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. 🚫 Not Allowed:

• Sleepwear of any kind – including pajama pants, full pajamas, onesies, robe-style clothing, etc.
• Fuzzy or house-shoe style footwear – including fuzzy Crocs, fuzzy Nikes, slippers, or any footwear that could be interpreted as house shoes.

We appreciate your support in helping students come to school ready to learn. If you have any questions or concerns about whether an item is appropriate, please contact Mrs. Brauchi for clarification.

Also, today is a half day and students get out at 12:30pm so please be sure to have transportation arrangements made for your child to be picked up on time.

Reminder: LISD gets out at 12:45 today. Bus parents, please pick up your students from the bus stop at 1:00 pm.

Tomorrow is a big day! Not only is it Ugly Sweater Day, but we will also have out annual Christmas Meal at lunch and the Elementary Christmas Program at 2:00pm! If you plan to attend lunch and/or the program, please call today to have your badge ready for a smooth check-in tomorrow. We are looking forward to a wonderful day with our Pirate Family!

Dear Parents and Community Members,

This is a reminder that no food or drinks are allowed in the competition gym. The only exception is water in a closed bottle. Anyone that wishes to enjoy refreshments, may do so in the hallway while watching the game through the windows.

Thank you for helping us keep our gym clean!

We have a newsletter that will be sent out before the start of each new month. It will contain all of the important dates and events for the entire month as well as the breakfast and lunch menu. This will replace the weekly notifications in order to allow parents more time to plan. Should any changes occur, parents will notified.
