📢 Important Campus Update – STAAR Testing Day 📢

Due to state STAAR testing on Tuesday, April 14th, juniors and seniors will not be allowed on campus until after lunch.

All juniors and seniors must report to school by 1:15 PM.

Area Track Information

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Awards Assemblies tomorrow have been rescheduled for Friday. Junior High and High School will be at 2:05, and Elementary will be at 3:00.

All High School Track Athletes will leave for White Deer for the District Track meet at 7:45 am tomorrow, April 8th.

Optional High School Track practice from 10am to 11:30am tomorrow.

District Track Meet next Wednesday in White Deer

In accordance with district policy and state requirements, Lefors ISD requires all students to provide verified proof of residency to be considered in-district. The requirements below must be met in full. There are no exceptions. Failure to provide sufficient documentation will result in the student being classified as a transfer student and subject to all applicable transfer policies and procedures.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share feedback regarding the proposed changes to the school calendar. We truly appreciate the thoughtful input from our staff, who were able to voice their concerns and preferences.
After gathering staff feedback, the calendar options were shared with the community so that all stakeholders had the opportunity to provide input and vote. The school board has now approved the calendar that received overwhelming support, with 76% of the community selecting it.
This is the 2026–2027 Lefors ISD District Calendar, and it is attached below.
